We are Tanzania Ardhi Yetu Steers (TAYES), a women-led and youth-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities through land rights advocacy, climate justice, digital enterprise, and sustainable development. Based in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania, TAYES leads grassroots initiatives that center women and youth as key agents of change. In alignment with The Tony Robbins Foundation’s mission to create lasting transformation and empower human potential, we have launched the Youth and Women Climate Stewardship Brigade, a dynamic network of young leaders and women changemakers committed to environmental action, community resilience, and climate education. This brigade, based in Iringa Region and coordinated by TAYES, serves as a model for inclusive climate leadership, promoting tree planting, land restoration, climate-smart livelihoods, and policy advocacy for a greener, more equitable future.
