Congratulations Spirit Keepers, First Congregational Church of Winter Park and Friends of FCCWP on the success of Basket Brigade 2018! 2018 was our best year to date because of the continued generosity and dedication of this group to serve our community. That is the power of the Holy Spirit at work When we are willing to hear that call. This year we had over (81) members of our Church Family assemble and donate (51) baskets and (3) gift cards (to serve as baskets) which were delivered by (46) warm smiling folks with arms wide open! Thanks to everyone who participated in the Spirit Keepers 2017 Basket Brigade. My best and fondest memory will be my family together driving, searching and delivering baskets with the hope of making someone's Thanksgiving a little better. I feel it made our family give thanks. In the happy moments praise God. In the difficult moments seek God. In the quiet moments trust God. In every moment thank God. May the Holy Spirit be with us and guide us. Tom Sanders

Spirit Keepers is a men's group engaged in service to our community and church. First Congregational Church of Winter Park was the first church in our community founded in 1884. Our group is open and affirming where everyone is welcome. Over the last three years we have participated in the greater Orlando area, Thanksgiving Basket Brigade Central Florida.

Last year was my first year being a participant. One of the families I met personally and the reward was all mine seeing the joy on the face of the "mother and children!" Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time of the year and it was definitely a blessing for the basket brigade to be able to share a bountiful basket of food with a family that I sensed appreciated every bit of it.

While it's always been rewarding to serve as part of the Greater Orlando Brigade, it is particularly gratifying to be a member of our very own Brigade! God Bless our efforts to serve those less fortunate.

Spirit Keepers is a multigenerational men's group dedicated to church and community service. We are associated with the United Church of Christ. We have an open door and open table to find Christian fellowship.
