Hello My name is Vera and I am starting the Baskets of Love Brigade. I want to help solve Hunger. I remember my mother putting locks on our cabinets trying to help conserve food for the month. I grew up in the military and paid day was once a month. I am 1 of 7 kids. All within 2-4 yrs of each other so when we were teenagers we were hungry, Not enough food to go around let alone last a month, My mom did the best she could. We grew our own vegetables and fished. We were lucky to have each other. I remember many nights going to bed hungry. I don't want anyone to ever feel that way. Please join me in getting baskets of food out to families in our areas.
